Apollo
Policy on Child Restraints
The
safety of our customers is of the utmost importance
to Apollo. Therefore we have developed a best practice
approach to Child Restraints. We aim for the best
safety (not just recommended levels) for our clients'
children.
Following
this page is a table which indicates the type and
number of Child Restraints that can be fitted to
our vehicles. Clients can rent Child Restraints
(must be pre-booked) from Apollo for $20 per rental.
It is the client's responsibility to fit them (our
branch staff are legally unable to fit them or advise
on how they should be fitted) to the vehicle and
we recommend the following guidelines below.
Child Restraints from overseas will not conform
to the stringent standards required in Australia
and New Zealand. We therefore strongly recommend
overseas renters not to bring their own Child Seats
as they will not be allowed to use them in Apollo
vehicles. For rentals in Australia we advise that
clients should travel to and from our branches via
taxi. If clients have children that require a Child
Restraint then we strongly recommend they order
a taxi with appropriate Child Restraints to meet
their requirements. Our policy has been formulated
to give your clients the best protection possible.
